Same ad as -1911A, but in black and white; compare and contrast. Man takes three women out for a drive in the countryside, in their Stevens-Duryea Six, with its "unit power plant" mounted on "three points." The painting is just as remarkable an example of late Nouveau, but it loses a lot in the absence of color. The artist's initials have disappeared in this version. Is the man the women's staff driver, or their husband and father? Published in the May 1, 1911 issue of the LADIES' HOME JOURNAL.
