The new stage of the Metropolitan Opera House (New York City), rebuilt for the production of "Parsifal." Set scene, Klingsor's Magic Palace and Enchanted Garden. Working drop scenes. Moving panoramas. Dropscene, Klingsor's Tower is aloft. Movable trap on bridge. Bridge winches. Section of Klingsor's Tower, lowered in the cellar by a movable bridge. The stage is divided into sections, the floor is removable and its place can be taken by "bridges," which can be raised to the level of the stage, carrying set scenery. The wing scenes are operated from the cellar.
