ASIA, a magazine about Asian countries: travel to, their history, geography, and culture, had some great covers. In the 1920's and early 1930's Frank McIntosh painted most of them, in an art-deco style that is immediately recognizable. (See this article.) Earlier issues had covers with a list of contents and a symbolic image or drawing, and by the late 1930's the covers were mostly photographic. In 1942 the title was changed to ASIA AND THE AMERICAS, and the magazine did not last long after this.
